About Us

Our Story

Love2Bake was founded in 2014 by husband and wife team, Marius and Cato.

Cato is the product developer and creative force, whilst Marius is the baker and operations manager. We employ our staff from Durbanville and Fisantekraal as a way to empower and support the community close to our premises.

Our Ingredients

In our bakery we are dedicated to responsibly sourcing ingredients from local farmers and in turn, helping our community. We strive to use only the best ingredients to create products that are baked the way you would bake them at home, without adding a hefty price tag.

Our Community involvement

We are currently involved with two entities, City Kings and charity work with Boland Nomads. All sponsorships are reviewed annually in November.

    We use Flaminkvlei Free Range Eggs. Flaminkvlei Farm is located in the Western Cape, South Africa and is part of the Poultry and Egg Production Industry.

  • Lausanne

    Lausanne Dairies is situated in Cape Town, with their offices and processing plant in full operation for the production of superior-quality dairy products.

  • DH Flexibles

    Packaging Manufacturer of food grade bags and pouches located in Durbanville, South Africa.

  • Label Leaders

    Label Leaders, established in 1995 in George produces flexographic self adhesive labels to various retail sectors. We pride ourselves on quality and service. We only use top grade raw materials with worldwide accepted certification. They have a 130kWp solar installation and stored rain water.

    Over the past 2 decades,
    Western Cape Milling has become a major contributor of flour products to the Western Cape market.

    Their clientele has grown due to their reputation for excellent service, consistency and quality you can trust. They offer excellent after sales service and product support.
